Everywoman 2024

Animation, Social Content, Brand Content, Events Videos

Directed by Eryn Sivak + Izzy Young

When we stumbled upon the Everywoman Festival during some creative research, we felt immediately drawn to it.

The Everywoman festival, celebrating women's health and empowerment, resonated deeply with Eryn and Izzy's passions. Fueled by the energy and insight they gained from attending, they knew they had to be part of it. They left the festival brimming with ideas, reached out on Instagram the next day, and within a month were discussing collaboration with the founder, Julie Cornish.

We agreed on a partnership of sorts and were tasked with two different outputs. The first: create an engaging, vibrant animation to promote the 2024 Everywoman Festival. The second: to film the festival on the day, showcasing its energy and excitement while creating a bank of content to build momentum for next year's event. We captured the essence of the festival, highlighting key speakers, workshops, and the overall fun. By integrating photos, videos, and user-generated content from the previous year, we aimed to create a buzz and sell those all-important tickets.

Designed storyboards

Working with Everywoman's bold and vibrant brand was a treat. The brand's visual language screamed for animation – vibrant colors, bold typography, and a sense of fun. We embraced a low frame rate, roughened edges, and a tactile feel, giving the animation a sweet, retro and bold vibe.

It was all about creating something that stood out and caught attention. The team loved working on it and we’re super happy with the outcome, bringing in a sweet 10K views on Instagram.

On festival day, we were there, camera in hand, ready to capture the magic. Our one-person camera operator, Sava, along with Eryn and Izzy, were in the thick of it. When our in-house creative Mac fell ill, Eryn and Izzy stepped up to conduct interviews. They smashed it, bringing their passion and energy to every conversation 👌

We captured the vibrant atmosphere, engaging sessions, and the joy of the attendees, producing a social-first event film that truly encapsulated the spirit of Everywoman Festival.

This project wasn't just about creating content; it was about connecting with a cause close to our hearts. Eryn and Izzy's passion for women's health and wellbeing drove this collaboration from start to finish.

Their enthusiasm not only got us in the door but also helped us deliver content that resonated deeply with the festival's audience. The client was thrilled, and we’re already in talks for next year's event.

Looking back, this project was a testament to the power of passion and persistence. It reminded us why we love what we do – creating meaningful, engaging content that makes a difference.
