We worked with Pimlico closely from the outset to develop a clear tone and voice that aimed to be obviously British, with eye-rolling frustration and wit that any Brit or Londoner could connect with. 

Whilst us Brits love to have a moan, we also need solutions. Our entire creative put Pimlico as the solution to your problem. Whether your toilets flooding, boilers breaking or that pesky mouse won't leave your cornflakes alone, Pimlico has you covered.

Pimlico needed creative flexibility that extended well beyond the shoot itself. By taking a modular approach to asset creation, we ensured that every shot could seamlessly pair with the next, giving them endless possibilities for future content.

With any live action job we always strive to enhance the visuals in post with both grade and visual effects. In our VFX pipeline we’d planned clean ups, and tracking elements into scenes, such as the boiler to display an LCD screen so we had control over this in post.

Alongside these post enhancements we had a number of established phone screen replacement shots that we wanted full control over. On a tight budget and timescale, we streamlined this process by making the decision to leave tracking markers off the phones. Planar trackers have come a long way in the last 5 years and after some in house testing it was clear that the time saved not painting out tracking markers was insane so we established this process and started using it in our work. Shooting all phones with and without markers we went ahead with a fully succesful set of tracked and comped phone screens. Rock solid tracks and many hours saved not having to paint out the track markers. We’ve implemented this into future projects and it’s made the screen replacement process so much more efficient.
