Lewis Jelley

Lewis is a Bristol-born, Cardiff-based cinematographer. 

A first-generation filmmaker with working-class parents, Lewis broke into the industry by shooting skate vids in carparks and music promos in underpasses.

His multi-disciplinary background has culminated in a humanistically-centred yet stylistically broad portfolio. He prides himself on being a malleable yet intention-driven DOP - keen to adopt whichever methodology suits the Director's vision.

As a HOD, Lewis works hard to create a positive, ego-free atmosphere on set. He's built long-lasting relationships with crew who share his belief that having a good time on set is key to producing great work.
