What can I expect?
Because of our hectic schedules and how utterly chaotic it can get here, we don’t offer official, structured placements, but rather the opportunity to shadow someone at work to understand what they do and how they do it—giving you a taste of what the job is like. No day is the same! One week we could be out on shoots, the next we’ll be inundated with post production deadlines and shacked up in the office until the early hours. Let us know what you want from the experience and we’ll see if we can accommodate it!
It’ll be up to you to make the most of the experience, and all we ask is that you keep an open mind, be curious about everything you see, try not to get in the bloody way, and promote our company values for the entire time that you’re with us.
Work shadowing is unpaid and lasts up to a week (we might sometimes consider a 2-week stint depending on our schedules).

Our unpaid work experience opportunities are open to all individuals from the age of 14 years living and/or studying in Cardiff and regardless of disability, gender or gender-reassignment; pregnancy and maternity; race; religion or belief, sexual orientation or age.
We want anyone who tags along for the ride to get an enjoyable and worthwhile experience, so we’d like to get to know a little bit about you before we consider you for a placement. We’ve put together a quick application for anyone interested, so go ahead and fill one in, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we get a chance.
A quick note before you smash in your application: We work hard to find placement opportunities for those that apply, but given the very high demand of requests we receive and the unpredictability of our schedules, it’s not always feasible, so we can’t guarantee that a placement will be available. We’ll do our best!
