Izzy is our extroverted, gym-going and food-loving junior designer, working alongside the Head of Design and our motion graphics artists on both our video and animation projects.
We picked up Izzy just as she was entering the real world after smashing out a 1st class honours degree in Graphic Communication at the Cardiff School of Art & Design. We had a hankering for a designer with a flair for typography, so who best to approach than someone who’d just earned a place in the International Society of Typographic Designers, won the Team Spirit Award at Big Ideas Wales and the Outstanding Studio Practice Award for her final degree show? Fair play. Her strong interest in social design and its thought-provoking impact led to her final major project: an exploration of the fine line between body positivity and obesity, which stood out to us as we perused the various graduate summer shows.
Outside of her love for design, Izzy spends her time eating great food and (subsequently) keeping fit at the gym. She considers herself knowledgable in “how to have a good time” (which was followed up with a strong “haha”, so take from that what you will…).
